A Midsummer Night's Dream
"It's an English teacher's dream."
Dr.
Leila Christenbury
Past-President
National Council of Teachers of English
Shakespeare in Costume builds costumes
for schools, theatres, and families that portray
the persona of Shakespeare's characters and the ambience
of Shakespeare's plays. Costumes include caps, capes, cowls,
ruffs, and more - even Bottom's head from A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Visually appealing, they are sewn from luxurious
fabrics, accented with ribbons, jewels, flowers,
and bells, and built for years of use.

Hamlet
Costumes bring characters to life in classrooms.
From Guildenstern's velvet flatcap to Juliet's bejeweled cap,
costumes enhance teaching Shakespeare through performance.
Full dress is not required. On the classroom stage,
one item can serve to quickly define a character,
and captivate a student.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
Costumes bring characters to life in homes.
By slipping on Bottom's fur head or Puck's glittering
baghat, children can recreate the characters they have seen in
plays. Familiarity with Shakespeare continues with costumes that
stimulate imagination and play. Each costume includes
a hangtag with lines from the character.
Costumes are now also available for
Canterbury Tales, Julius Caesar, and The Crucible.
Please call for information.
Shakespeare in Costume is an annual
exhibitor
at the National Council of Teachers of English convention.
