  • simple technical ideas for seven production committees - set, lighting, sound effects, music, dance, props, and additional costumes
  • hints for Shakespeare's language and a list of tricky words
  • a large print script - easily read and copied

  • narrator - a Renaissance flatcap similar to Shakespeare's
  • oberon the fairy king - a purple iridescent taffeta Elizabethan baghat with silver streaks
  • titania the fairy queen - a ruffled bonnet or neck ruff of crystal ice organza with flowers and ribbons
  • puck the  mischievous fairy - a green iridescent taffeta Elizabethan baghat with silver streaks
  • bottom the donkey - a huge fur head with iridescent taffeta ears, sparkle organza leaves, trim, cotton lining, and velcro closure

  • use their imagination to "put on a play"
  • all have a part in the production
  • may be individually cast in or may share the speaking roles
